The Soft loop each end one way sling – not just for single use!

Along with the single use endless type of sling, soft loop one way slings now have the improved 7:1 safety factor which means that they can actually be used more than once. Of course you must check them over and ensure they have not exceeded the SWL and there are no defects such as loose stitching, tears or abrasions if you wish to reuse them. If in doubt - don't! get them properly tested or dispose of them.

There are a couple of ways in which this type of lifting sling is typically used.  Firstly they can be inserted into a load that will need to be lifted at the end of construction; this enables the sling to be positioned precisely to ensure the load will be evenly balanced when lifted or moved.

Once reaching the final resting place the lifting sling is sometimes left in place out of sight. This not only saves a lot of time during transportation, it also means that extra slings are not required for off loading. More often than not, however, the slings are removed completely and can be reused if still in good condition or discarded.

The second and probably most common method of using these one way slings,  are by simply slinging it under the load and  drawing up the soft loops to fit to a lifting hoist or crane ready to do the physical lifting.

25 MM Soft Loop Each End One Way Slings

These disposable slings come with a soft loop at each end enabling them to be easily attached to the load hook on a hoist or crane. While they are suitable for single use, they can also be re-used thanks to their hard-wearing construction.  

Available in lengths from 1 to 6 meters as standard these slings have a safe working load of 175kg.
